Roath’s community of amateur bakers came together yesterday for the sixth annual Roath Bake Off. Around 50 cakes were submitted on the day for judging in support of Welsh Hearts, a leading heart charity in Wales. Hosts, Wayne Courtney and Nathan Wyburn both dressed in heart printed suits in support of their cause.
This was also Wayne’s last ever Roath Bake Off and had an emotional day announcing the winners and thanking everyone who made the Roath Bake Off possible. Wayne is now looking to focus on other new projects but hopes the Bake Off can continue in the future with another organiser.
