ZAP Upcycled for Made in Roath

Thanks to Deb de Lloyd for this guest post.

Born out of a passion for fashion and the desire to reuse, recycle and remodel existing clothing. The nifty thrifty duo, Melanie Hobday and Deborah de Lloyd present ZAP Upcycled. ZAP offers fun and snappy skill-share workshops for all ages and abilities as well as clothing and accessories for sale.

Like 2 peas in a pod, Mel and Deb met at art college a light-moon ago and have since followed very similar careers in the world of theatrical costume and bridal wear, collaborating professionally from time-to-time. This crafty pair have made all sorts of weird and wonderful creations in their time and own a treasure-trove of skill and fabric knowledge between them.

On Wednesday 15th October, at TAVS centre, Tavistock St, Roath from 7pm – 9pm they will be holding their second workshop. Bring your old clothes along and they will show you how you can Zap them up with a multitude of creative techniques. Let them stitch creative flair into the things that you wear!
