Open Doors Days, the annual event organised by Cadw, is in Roath from 20th September, and offers chances to visit places of interest in the locality not usually open to the public. You will probably be familiar with a lot of these buildings, but never had the chance to look inside. Many of the buildings also offer special access to their interiors and history that is only open during this period, so why not drop in and find out more about them?
This year, Cadw is also offering free admission to many of their paid admission sites on 27th and 28th September. Check out all the Cardiff Open Doors Days, and join in with Roath Open Doors next weekend:

St Anne’s Church, 20th September, 10am – 4pm
St Edward’s Church, 20th September, 10am – 4pm
St Margaret’s Church, 20th September, 12.30pm – 5.30pm; 21st September, 2pm – 5.30pm
Cathays
Cathays Cemetery, 21st September, 11am – 2pm, plus guided walk 2.30pm
