First World War Commemorations Roath Parish

This Saturday, 9th August, St Andrew’s URC is holding a Georgian Afternoon Tea from 2.30pm, to celebrate the lives of those who gave their lives in World War One.

Next weekend at St Margaret’s, a Cytûn Songs of Praise Service will take place on Sunday 17th August, to commemorate the centenary of the start of the First World War in August 1914.

The service will follow on from the Waterloo Fest in Waterloo Gardens, starting at 2pm, which will include guided walks of the park by Roath Local History Society.

St Edward’s held a World War One Centenary Evensong on Monday 4th August.
