St Anne’s, Tuesday 10 December, 7.30pm. South Wales Gay Men’s Chorus Concert of Christmas Music. ‘Donations to St Anne’s Church and to South Wales Men’s Chorus chosen charity “The Forget-me-Not Chorus”, a Cardiff based charity that supports people with dementia and their carers through weekly singing. Followed by drinks and mince pies.’

St Edward’s Saturday 14th December, 11am Coffee Concert: Gary Mullins-Solo Piano. The programme includes music by Mozart, Brahms, Rachmaninov, Chopin and Beethoven, and Gary will be joined by one of his pupils, Mark Newberry, on piano. £2 inc coffee and biscuits
St Martin’s, Saturday 14th December, 1pm-5.30pm. St Martin’s. Come and Visit Santa at the Christmas Grotto in the Cloister. Entrance £2.50. Monies raised will be used to support the homeless at the Huggard Centre
St Martin’s, Sunday 15th December, 3.30pm. The Roath Community Carol Service. Directed by Kelvin Thomas, featuring Women in Harmony, Voicemale, St Philip Evans School Choir (conductor Katy Roberts) & Cambrensis Concert Band (conductor David Elliott). Monies raised for the Huggard Centre
St Edward’s, Tuesday 17th December, 7.30pm. St Edward’s Orchestra Concert. Programme: Mozart’s Bassoon Concerto (soloist: Ian Mansbridge); Mozart’s 2nd Horn Concerto (soloist: Cai Hywel); selection of Mozart areas sung by students from Aberdare Comprehensive School
The Gate, Friday 20th December, 7.30pm Cider & Carols. ‘This year the singing will be led by the girls from Sound of Wales. It’s free entry (but a collection will be taken for charity) and to cap it all we are giving out free mulled cider (or apple juice).’
