Safer Routes in Communities – consultation in Roath

Jo Sachs-Eldrige, Cycling Officer at Cardiff Council, is looking for your views on getting around the local area by foot and bike.  Read more below about what the Council is looking for, to improve your experience, and how you can get involved:

Safer Routes in Communities - Cathays and Roath‘As part of the Safer Routes in Communities project, we are bidding for Welsh Government funding to improve the walking and cycling environment in the Cathays and Roath areas.

We have identified a number of junctions where upgrades would improve the permeability through the area. We are keen to get input from the people who regularly use these junctions.

We will be having a number of consultation events in January, including a stall on 26th January at Roath Market. Once the consultation is launched in January you will also be able to view the proposals online, and are welcome to contact us on cycling[at]cardiff[dot]gov[dot]uk or on 029 2087 3254.’
