A new writing group – Roath Writers – is due to begin monthly meetings at The Gate Arts Centre from this Monday, 3rd September.
The group is organised by Christina Thatcher, a published writer, postgraduate, and qualified teacher. Christina is originally from America, but has lived and studied in the UK for some years, studying for an MA in Creative Writing at Cardiff University.
Roath Writers will be an informal workshop group, where members can discuss their own writing, and that of others: introducing the group on the Literature Wales website, Christina writes, ‘lively discussion sparked by books, films, poetry, and literary events is also encouraged!’
